UGREEN Revodok Maxidok 10-in-1 Thunderbolt™ 5 Docking Station

After trying different dock stations for my mac , finally I found this. Its so easy to setup and no additional software to install. It took 2 min to setup. So far I'm loving it.

Works flawlessly

I didn’t buy a docking station… I accidentally purchased a NASA control panel.

This thing has more ports than my last vacation had layovers. Plugged it in and suddenly my laptop went from “just trying its best” to CEO of productivity. One cable in, and boom—monitors, Ethernet, storage, peripherals… probably could connect a toaster if I tried hard enough.

The speed? Absolutely disrespectful. We’re talking up to 120Gbps—files move so fast I’m not even sure they exist anymore.

And the display support? Single 8K or dual high-res displays… my desk now looks like I run a stock trading empire (I do not, but it feels like I do).

Also charges my laptop like it owes it money.

Build quality? Solid. Sleek. Feels like it could survive a small meteor. Setup was basically plug-and-play, which is great because I was not emotionally prepared to read a manual.

Only downside: now I expect everything I own to work this well, and that’s just unrealistic.

UGREEN didn’t just make a dock—they made a lifestyle upgrade.

Hardly recommend, works with Macbook Pro 14" M2 and M3 Thunderbolt 4 and 5, Mac Mini M2, Lenovo Z13 USB4 and with Gigabyte Aorus 32" 4K 165hz OLED screen without any issues running 10bit and full 165hz

A good value for money, you pay what you get!

Die Inbetriebnahme dieser Docking-Station in Kombination mit einem Surface Notebook und einem Switch war problemlos (plug'n play). Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist ebenfalls ohne Tadel, wobei das Metallgehäuse richtig edel ist. Lediglich zwei Kleinigkeiten sind zu bemängeln:

Die Anschluss-Topologie ist m E. nicht optimal. Ich fände es besser, wenn das Anschlusskabel zu dem Client (Notebook, Tablet) auf der Frontseite angebracht wäre. In den meisten Fällen dürfte der Client vor der Dockingstation platziert sein. Immerhin lässt sich auch einer der beiden USB-C Ports auf der Rückseite mit dem Switch verbinden, damit die am Switch angeschlossenen Devices (Kamera, Tastatur/Maus-Dongles) vom Client (Surface) erkannt werden, auch wenn das so nicht in der Anleitung steht.

Der Preis ist ordentlich. Dafür hat man eine Docking Station die auch für die nähere Zukunft gewappnet ist (mein Surface hat noch Thunderbird 4). Zudem liege neben einem potenten Netzteil noch zwei Display-Port-Kabel bei.
